Origin: composite of different breeds of the Appennine group; Garfagnana, North-western Toscana.
The breed is adapted to the local environment (hills).

Morphological and economic characteristics

Size: small
Height at the withers:
- Male: 65-70 cm
- Female: 60-65 cm
Weight:
- Male: 50-55 kg
- Female: 40-45 kg

Uni coloured: white.
Main use: milk, meat.
