Origin and diffusion

Area of origin: Langhe (Region Piedmont).
The Langhe is found in the provinces of Cuneo, Asti (Piedmont) and Savona (Liguria).
The breed is adapted to the local environment (hills).

Morphological and economic characteristics

Size: medium-large
Height at the withers:
- Male: 82 cm
- Female: 77 cm
Weight:
- Male: 85 kg
- Female: 68 kg

Uni coloured: white.
Uses: milk. Is among the best italian dairy breeds.
