Area of origin: Province of Bolzano - South Tyrol (Passiria Valley and Sarentino Valley) and Austria; first half of 20th century.

Morphological and economic characteristics

Size: medium
Height at the withers:
- Male: 75 cm
- Female: 60 cm

Many colours are possible (black, brown, grey).
Uses: meat.
