Composite of local breeds and Toggenburg from Switzerland.
The zone of origin of this goat population is Bormio (Valtellina, Bormio Province, northern Italy).

Morphological and economic characteristics

Size: medium-large
Colour: light brown - red brown.
Uses: milk.
