Origin and diffusion

The origin of this breed seems to be Mount Ausoni and Aurunci ( provinces of Rome, Frosinone, - Latium) where it is still bred but limited to few heads in the area.

Morphological and economic characteristics

Weight:
- Male: 75-85 kg
- Female: 45-55 kg

The coat is of a plain silver grey, light and dark, long-haired with a grey skin. With or without horns.
Very good milk and kid meat.
