Origin and diffusion

Origen: composite of different breeds of the Appennin; recent decades have made many crosses with Bergamasca and Biella.
Area of origin: Ligurian Alps, Genova and Savona Provinces.

Morphological and economic characteristics

Size: large
Height at the withers:
- Male: 87 cm
- Female: 85 cm
Weight:
- Male: 80 kg
- Female: 70 kg

Uni coloured: yellow, sometimes light brown.
Uses. meat.
The animals live in a hilly environment.
