Origin and diffusion

Area of origin: Sondrio Province, Lombardy Region, northern Italy.
Description of origin: composite of Ciavenasca and a local breed.
This breed is probably extinct.

Morphological and economic characteristics

Size: small
Height at the withers:
- Male: 45-50 cm
- Female: 40-45 cm
Weight:
- Male: 35-40 kg
- Female: 30-35 kg

Uni coloured: white. The breed is adapted to the local environment (mountains).
Aptitude production: meat
