Varenne: the world-famous Italian trotting horse

The most famous Italian trotting horse is certainly “Varenne”. He has won the equivalent of 6,400,000 euros in prize-money.
He was born on May19TH 1995, the progeny of the stallion Waikiki Beach and the mare Ialmaz. Varenne is the most successful horse of all time, the winner of 53 top prizes including, two Amerique, three Lotteria, two Olympia Travet, the Breeders' Crown, the Nations' Crown and the Derby. He holds the world record over two kilometres and on the one-mile track.
